There is no off-season in the NFL. Almost immediately after the Super Bowl the free agency talks began and the trade rumors started to swirl. Guys like Darrelle Revis, Percy Harvin and Alex Smith could be dealt while Greg Jennings, Ed Reed and Joe Flacco will be dealing with new contracts. It's exciting to think about these players and other top free agents and where they may end up. Possibly on your favorite team. Here's a list of some of the players I believe will be changing uniforms this year and a prediction on what city those jerseys will represent.
Alex Smith - Kansas City Chiefs
Reggie Bush - Cincinnati Bengals
Shonne Greene - Buffalo Bills
Rashard Mendenhall - Dallas Cowboys
Greg Jennings - Minnesota Vikings
Percy Harvin - St. Louis Rams
Dwayne Bowe - Miami Dolphins
Mike Wallace - New England Patriots
Wes Welker - Denver Broncos
Jake Long - Green Bay Packers
Ed Reed - New England Patriots
Darrelle Revis - San Francisco 49ers
Aqib Talib - Green Bay Packers

I was thinking the same thing except for just a few. I think San Diego goes after Long. I think that the Patriots tag Welker again. Jennings goes to Miami, Wallace goes to Cleveland, and I don't know where Rashard Mendenhall will go. Big D can't have any more drama.
ReplyDeleteI haven't really thought of key additions that will go anywhere. Free agency starts on March 12th, and the franchise tag deadline is on March 4th.
