Its 5:32pm and The Superbowl
of the NASCAR season is over. Here are some things that stood out for
ME during the The Daytona 500. Be advised , these are my own opinions
and NOT necessarily those of this website or anyone associated with
it.
Fans that are new to
NASCAR need to watch old videos where rubbin' was racin' and if my
driver is behind your driver and too slow, its no holds barred Baby –
Move or be Moved !
If you cant handle aggressive driving get out of
the sport, its called R A C I N G for a reason.
The Gen 6 car was hyped up
as a car that would bring on great racing. Racing like we have not
seen in 20 years. Didn't happen. Not sure if it was the drivers or
the cars. It was pretty much a freight train most of the race. We
shall see what happens as the season moves on.
Kasey Kahne can NOT catch
a break in the early season of NASCAR ever! However, don’t count
him out , he ended up 4th in Sprint Cup Standings last
year.
People who have NO CLUE
about NASCAR should SHUT THE HELL UP with their opinions. You KNOW
NOTHING, YOU HAVE NO SAY. Just go away....
Danica Patrick led a lap
in the 500 and earned another record for women in NASCAR. I'm so
happy for her. On the other hand, many female race fans really
despise her. I don’t get it. She does not have to prove anything to
me. The hate is unwarranted.
50 Cent went in for a kiss
to race reporter Erin Andrews and epically failed.

I did not catch Ray Lewis
at the race until it was over....strange, he was low key. Go figure!
Rookie Driver that NO ONE
talked about during race week, Michael McDowell No.38 ended with an
impressive 9th place finish. His post race interview
allowed me the pleasure to remember why I love this sport.
I will always miss my friend, Dale
Earnhardt …oh and Jimmie Johnson , won.

I can name at least 10 drivers better than Danica Patrick. She is a competitor and is adjusting to the game, but if anyone puts her in a top 10 or the Sprint Cup Chase predictions, that is just disrespectful.
ReplyDeleteDisrespectful to whom ? No one can predict the top twelve at this time. We can only estimate from previous seasons how drivers will do. Although, you never know who may be a surprise and who may have a completely opposite season than we would think. Its early and she has enough hate and vitriol , its time to raise people up not bring them down with only 1 race into the season.
