Cavalier fans are calling for Mike Brown's head

Cleveland once again may have a coach that will be let go after a year tenure. This time its Mike Brown. Cavaliers have been a hot topic for most because many wondered if Lebron James would ever come back. The more this season drags on... we can clearly see that won't happen. This organization is dysfunctional, they clearly blew the draft. They also went out and brought back a coach that they fired. Cleveland fans don't have much to be happy about now a days especially with Browns and Indians under performing. Most thought that the Cavs would have a good shot to make the playoffs this year.

Then this happened last night playing against the Suns. The Suns (25-18) battled back from a 20-point deficit in the first half to shock the host Cleveland Cavaliers, 99-90, on Sunday before 15,872 at Quicken Loans Arena. It was a collapse of epic proportions. The Cavaliers had to have been feeling good about themselves in the first half, as they took an 18-point lead into the locker room. Some were suggesting it was their most complete half of the season. All that changed in the second half, as the Cavs crumbled and were outscored, 56-29.

This is what Mike Brown had to say about the embarrassing performance...
"I'm disappointed that we came out and played that way," Cavs coach Mike Brown said. "We should all be embarrassed with the way we played in second half."
Mike Brown should be embarrassed about this season... they hired Brown to come back and provide stifling defense and he's only ranked 19th in the league. The biggest things that Brown received criticism for his offense which has the Cavs once again towards the bottom of the barrell averaging 96 points per game.

They made a trade for Luol Deng which was supposed to bring scoring, defense and veteran leadership to this team. It hasn't actually gone picture perfect for neither parties. Deng since the Bulls game has been relatively quiet and I've not seen him be as vocal with the team as you would want from your veteran. He does have to take time to get in tune with this team but time is not something that Cavs have right now. Deng will be a free agent this season, Kyrie Irving has to sign another contract soon. Cavs can possibly be looking at a team that will be repeatedly going to the lottery every season.

Many fans believe that Mike Brown shouldn't even be a coach in the league. He's best suited as a defensive assistant. He can't develop younger players like Anthony Bennett who's been sitting on the bench. Why wouldn't the Cavs send him to the D-League? He's a number #1 draft pick that would be absurd right? Mike Brown thinks so. He also can't coach offense, he often leaves in the same inefficient lineup. His rotations are completely off base and he doesn't put the right players in for the right situations.

No wonder Cavs fans are calling for Mike Brown's head. He's an absolute embarrassment, what do you think? What will turn around this franchise? Dan Gilbert can't be a happy camper right now... but he's mishandled this franchise since he first bought it. Are the Cavs justified in firing Mike Brown in his first year?

  1. I'm not happy with Mike Brown because his bad management of the team has cost us games but I don't understand the hate toward Gilbert in how he's mishandled the franchise. No one can explain this to me

  2. Gilbert should never have re-hired Brown. He is absolutely the worse offensive minded coach ver seen. His offense has not changed since LeBron was here and remember the number of games that the cavs won at the end that should never have been that close? We don't have LeBron now to save us from bad coaching. Brown has to go, the Lakers found that out quickly.

  3. There is a reason Mike Brown was fired 5 FIVE GAMES into last years season with the Lakers. Brown rode the coat tails of Lebron for years. He is a horrible head coach. He has lost this locker room. Cav's players have tuned him out. Instead of us firing him 5 games into this season, anybody up for 55 games into the season??!!
