Boston Celtics: Can they really get Gordon Hayward?

News from the NBA free-agency period late last night says the Boston Celtics are interested in acquiring Utah Jazz guard/forward Gordon Hayward.

Ken Berger of CBS and the Boston Globe suggest the interest is mutual as Heyward played his college ball under now Celtics coach Brad Stevens.

The Celtics are looking to upgrade the small forward position where Jeff Green can score but he can't do a whole lot else.

Heyward is one of those cerebral guys that has a very nice, all-around game. His numbers last season, 16.2 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 5.2 apg, put him in pretty elite company.
