New Orleans Saints: Does Mark Ingram have the chance to be best ever?

It may seem far fetched, but Mark Ingram has lofty goals for himself. He doesn’t want to be a good running back. He wants to be the best to play the game. He’s got the confidence needed to have a breakout 2014 campaign and beyond.

The New Orleans Saints running back is entering his fourth season, which doesn’t really help him in his goal of wanting to be the greatest ever from a timing standpoint. He’s been in a running back by committee form, sharing carries at one point with Darren Sproles and Chris Ivory. Both have moved onto different teams, leaving Ingram as the hopeful workhorse of the team; although Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson might have something to say. Ingram has rushed for 1,462 yards and 11 touchdowns in 37 career games. He’s also missed time due to injuries.
